Every single person behind the counter is the nicest friendliest pizza shop worker. They have awesome heros and sausage and peppers! They also help the food pantry next door a lot which is awesome to see.
I went for the first time with my friend Katie yesterday to get our go to order (chicken bacon ranch slice) We both agreed this was the best slice of chicken bacon ranch we ever had. We were greeted by a lady named Leah and 2 other workers, everybody was extremely friendly and every time someone walked in they were treated like family including us. There's a front and back so there's plenty of seats, also we we called like 5 or 6 pizza places before we went here to ask if they had our favorite slice and these guys were the only ones to offer to make 2 slices for us. We were absolutely taken back by the service, atmosphere, everything, this will be our go to spot from now on, thank you guys!!

These guys have such great Italian food-my go to place for that right flavor!! In fact I'll go out of my way for consistently great! Which they are.
I knew leaving NY would leave a pizza shaped hole in my heart… HOWEVER, I did not stop to consider the Middle-Island-Pizza-garlic-knot shaped hole that is even more prominently missing since having moved. Those knots are beyond perfection, and back in my several decades of Long Island living, I would often stop by just for a questionably large order of knots. They live on in my heart and dreams. It is the first food I will run towards next time I’m in town.
I have had several great experiences at Middle Island Pizza, but wanted to share the most recent. Last February I purchased a calzone that I wasn’t satisfied with. I returned it and received a credit. I was recently back in the area and placed an order. Anthony, not only honored a year old credit, but also wasn’t going to charge me for the more expensive order I had placed. It is rare to find such a stand up business owner nowadays. Because of this I will travel further to his location then the 2 other local businesses near me.

The staff is super friendly, and the place itself is clean, cozy, and quaint, which makes it a comfortable place to stop in for a quick bite. The pizza is really good, with plenty of options to choose from so there’s something for everyone. It’s the kind of place that’s easy to return to when you’re craving a solid slice. Overall, a reliable neighborhood pizza spot that I’d definitely visit again.
Definitely underrated. Great staff, fresh ingredients, and delicious pizza. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Looking forward to coming back!
